About Leisa Rice
If the thought of major life decisions, such as buying a new home, makes you feel sick, you have come to the right place. With 25 years in the nursing profession, Leisa Rice knows the cure for finding just the right spot to put down some healthy roots.
For Leisa, the move into real estate was a natural fit, because it allowed her to care for people without having to deal with insurance companies. “The best part is the entire process of meeting the client, looking at homes together and seeing them happy at the settlement table,” Leisa says. “My nursing experience enables me to communicate with all types of backgrounds, and to prioritize for my clients so that we aren’t looking around for homes that don’t match their criteria.” Everything to suture needs, in other words.
Providing the correct diagnosis has been a prescription for many satisfied clients. “At one closing, my client grabbed my arm and took me dancing and singing down the hall; needless to say, she was one happy customer,” Leisa said. And also needless to say, if you twist an ankle doing your happy dance, she can help with that too.
Leisa is also in tune with changing demographics, realizing more people are retiring and looking for a home that more suits their evolving needs.
“I want to focus on the folks who are getting ready to retire, are retired or plan to downsize — to assist them with the transition,” she said. “I feel like my background in care and nursing will be relatable to this type of client as they transition.”
So if that eight-car garage no longer fits your lifestyle, or if you are looking for a home that’s easier to care for and closer to services you require, Leisa can fix you up with surgical precision.
When not selling real estate, it is no surprise that Leisa enjoys caring for family and friends, entertaining and cooking — “There are never enough parties or picnics!” she says — and boating with her husband Kevin in a 1970s vintage craft.
Leisa will try anything silly or serious, from a dazzling, but unsuccessful, one-woman show to try to get on The Price is Right in Los Angeles, to reaching out to the biological brother she never knew she had.
Or if she’s just hanging out with Jake, her yellow lab, and Tucker the border-beagle, that’s OK too. So finding just the right home with Leisa promises to be relaxed, fun and just what the doctor ordered.
